This smoothie is packed with nutrition, and it tastes creamy and refreshing. I love starting my day this way. Our toddler loves this!
Makes 1 smoothie
-1 banana, in chunks (I like frozen banana; our toddler prefers unfrozen)
-1 pitted, chopped dated
-a handful or two of greens (kale, collards or spinach all work well)
-1 T hemp seeds or hemp protein powder (optional, our toddler doesn’t like it)
-no sugar added orange juice or almond milk (I just eyeball this and add as needed)
1. In a high-power blender like a Vitamix, blend all ingredients on low for a minute or two. Then blend on high.
2. Serve in 1 cup for you or 1 sippy for your little one!
